Description | Continued study of the instruments and control systems used in the process industries including terminology, process variables, symbology, control loops, and troubleshooting. | ||||||||

There is a hard hat kit required to be purchased by all students (both PTAC and INST). Below is the link to purchase the PPE kit as well as the link for the Instrumentation students in CETT 1321 who need to purchase an electronics project kit. Please put this information on your course syllabi (all of them). They only need to purchase one kit. Electronics/Instrumentation Kit (touchnet.com) Students may state they have a hard hat—they MUST use the hard hat purchased with the kit. They cannot use their own from other locations. |

Identify and adjust the various instruments used in the process industries. Demonstrate safety procedures used during cleaning out, isolation and repair of process instruments.
